Abstract

Introduction

This article introduces a pet feeding robot designed patent to address challenges related to pet owners' availability and pet hygiene during feeding times.

METHOD

Utilizing the Arduino Uno as the central controller, along with various components such as actuators, pumps, motors, cameras, and servo motors. The aim of this project is to streamline the development of an automated pet feeding system. The Smart Pet Feeding Machine employs a time-based mechanism to autonomously dispense food and water using a pump motor.

RESULT

It features a vertical storage unit for both food and water, alongside a motorized dispenser equipped with a wheeled DC motor for robot movement. Mobility of the dispenser is controlled by a servo motor, while live streaming capabilities are enabled through the attachment of a camera facilitated by NodeMCU.

Conclusion

Furthermore, sensors are integrated to accurately gauge the distance between the robot and its target items.
