Reactions of Organic Nitrogen Compounds with Carbenoids and Diarylketenes from Diazoalkanes and Diazocarbonyls

This article describes the current status of research on the reactions of nitrogen-containing organic compounds with carbenoids and diarylketenes, generated from catalytic and thermal decomposition of the diazoalkanes and diazocarbonyls. The mechanism of the reactions suggested is shown, and the potential of the reactions for application in organic synthesis is discussed.
