Abstract
The interaction of Mitomycin C with dsDNA was performed with differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) by using carbon nanotubes modified single-use pencil graphite electrode (CNTs-PGE) and bare PGE. The passive adsorption process was used to modify the electrode surface by CNTs and then dsDNA was immobilized onto the modified PGEs by a strong chemical interaction between the amine groups of dsDNA and the carboxyl groups of CNTs. The performance of CNT-PGEs was studied by examining the optimum analytical conditions; MC concentration, interaction time, etc. with voltammetric methods and then impedance method was performed to characterize the modification of CNTs onto the electrode surface.
