Triazoles and their Derivatives as Anti-Inflammatory Agents, Page 1 of 1
< Previous page | Next page > /docserver/preview/fulltext/9789815223460/chapter-2-1.gifHeterocyclic compounds are a large group of organic chemical compounds that have at least one and sometimes more than one heteroatom. For their anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-cancer, and other properties, heterocyclic compounds are used a lot in pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, veterinary products, sanitizers, antioxidants, co-polymers, and other products. Triazoles are a type of chemical compound that has a five-membered heterocyclic ring with three nitrogen atoms and are used in a significant number of different pharmaceutical applications along with anti-inflammatory agents. Nowadays, a significant amount of research is being done on triazoles as potential anti-inflammatory agents. This chapter is mainly focused on the synthesis of triazoles and their various derivatives, along with their antiinflammatory properties.<br>
