Abstract
This review provides a survey on the reactions of nitrilimines, generated in situ by dehydrohalgenation of the corresponding hydrazonoyl halides, with heterocyclic enones. These reactions proved useful for synthesis of various spiroheterocycles possessing chiral centers and some biological activities.
