The Catalytic Activity of Zn (II) and Co(II) Complexes Involving 1, 2- ethylenediamine Ligand

Zn(II) and Co(II) organometallic complexes I and II involving 1,2-ethylenediamine were first synthesized from the reaction of the ligand 1,2-ethylenediamine with Zn(OAc)2· 2H2O and Co(OAc)2·4H2O in ethanol, then they were used to catalyze the Henry reaction, and good catalytic results (64-99%) were achieved.
