Abstract
The synthesis and characterization of a novel aminophenyl benzimidazole Pd (II) complex is reported. The complex proved as an efficient catalyst for the Sonogashira crosscoupling reaction of ten different aryl bromides with trimethylsilylethyne to yield a wide range of aryl trimethylsilylethynes.
