Oxazole, Oxadiazole, Isoxazoline and Oxazoline Derivatives as Anti-Inflammatory Agents, Page 1 of 1
< Previous page | Next page > /docserver/preview/fulltext/9789815223460/chapter-4-1.gifOxygen and Nitrogen containing five-membered heterocyclic compounds have been the target of intense investigation in the last two decades to discover potent biologically active compounds as anti-inflammatory agents. The related studies comprising of fascinating oxazole-based derivatives include oxazoles, isoxazoles, oxazolines, and oxadiazoles, as therapeutic agents, which have become an interesting topic. Therefore, noticeable achievements have been accomplished in the field of antiinflammatory studies. This chapter will discuss some latest updates on the synthesis and anti-inflammatory studies of these oxazole-based derivatives, which we hope will be beneficial to synthetic organic and medicinal chemists.<br>
