Due to significant technical improvements in various industries over the past few years, the world's industrial systems have transformed. The major technologies, such as IoT and Big Data, have a large impact on Industry 4.0. They affect each and every sector of the economy. The main advantages include advances in productivity, efficiency, flexibility, decision-making process, and quality of goods and services. The challenges include analyzing the data produced and integrating new technology with the staff and equipment that are already in place. Our goal is to summarize the potential and challenges associated with adopting Industry 4.0 in the manufacturing sector.
