There are many antivirals available to treat COVID-19 at present. Some of them are safe and effective, while many others have been banned by the World Health Organization. Hence, it is very important for clinicians and nurses to know accurately and precisely about the safe and effective antivirals to treat COVID-19. Materials and methods: The purpose of this chapter is to address the issues with available antivirals, their modes of action, adverse effects, and drug interactions. Literature search has been carried out meticulously. Conclusion: Many options are available for treating COVID-19, but treatment needs to be tailored according to the situation.
